Feeding Those in Need on the Street

There are approximately 1,500-2,000 individuals living in unsheltered areas in San Antonio during the COVID-19 pandemic. These individuals have no reliable food sources and desperately need food and water. Due to the pandemic, ordinary food sources are not available to the many people in San Antonio who are currently unsheltered, living in encampments and on the streets. To ensure individuals living in unsheltered areas have access to food, Haven for Hope is distributing food and other basic need items (water, hygiene products, socks, etc.) seven days per week. We have eight staff members who are traveling throughout the City daily to distribute 1,500 meals per week.
